Aqua Breeze Inn at 204 2nd Street, Santa Cruz, California.

Location was great but thats all.
My child and I stayed for two nights and had a first floor room right off the parking lot. Our neighbors were dealing drugs out of their room and smoking a crack pipe right by our door. The heater/air conditioner is located at the front of your room and we had the fan on due to the room being stuffy. That pulled cigarette smoke into our room from all the people who stand next to the doors and smoke. I didn't complain about it thinking that I was only there 2 nights and for the price i didn't feel it was worth the effort. Well after we got home I checked my credit card and I was charged for smoking in the room. When I called to ask why, they accused me of smoking in the room and that I cant prove that the smoke was coming from outside and refused to refund me the money. I will never stay here again even if it was free!

This really shocked me that the hotel staff does't care about the guest they rent the rooms to. Mothers Day I had a delivery sent to the office and had too pay extra to guarantee morning delivery. They were delivered to your office a big big box because everything was fresh and in the box. No one at your office bothered to contact their guest and tell them they had a delivery until 4:30pm when they delivered by 11am the flowers withered in the box for 6 hours I kept trying to call and was put on hold through out the day. I was out of town and wasn't able to call every hour once i got through from holding 30 minutes the lady at the front desk said oh ya i saw that big box all morning going to room number number. I asked if it was delivered she said she had not clue the box is gone. I do not understand how someone could be so irresponsible it a Sunday delivery! why wouldn't you tell them they received a delivery within at least an hour. not 6. It was such a pretty arrangement that my mom didn't get to see. the flowers are dead! no sorry from the front office they just don't care. I would never stay here with people that have no work ethics to take care of their guest! its a hotel for gods sak! worst front desk lady with such an attitude problem.
